During my stay at The Esplanade for three nights, I was impressed by the welcoming ambiance created by the management team led by Suzy. The room I occupied was both clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a long workday. The food served in the restaurant was consistently delicious, coupled with a variety of options which made dining enjoyable. The hotel's beautiful location overlooking the Firth of Clyde enhanced the overall experience.

Some areas of the hotel could benefit from updates.

had a lovely stay at the esplanade! the view from our sea view room was amazin and made for great mornings. staff were super friendly and always ready to help. breakfast was fast and tasty, never had to wait long which was cool. loved the location, right by the beach and near the town center!

the room could use some updates as the bathroom felt a bit dated. parking was a hassle since there weren't enough spaces available.

We had a wonderful time staying here with the kiddo. The large bathroom was fantastic for the family, and we loved spending time nearby at the Kyles of Bute, enjoying some scenic views while sailing. The breakfast and dinner were delightful!

In my wife’s opinion, a kids' play area would be great.

A lovely spot with nice sea views and friendly staff who made adjustments for our group without additional charges. The meals were enjoyable, particularly the baguettes, adding to the overall dining satisfaction. the lack of evening entertainment and some dated room features slightly took away from the experience.
